Kuala Lumpur: In line with the importance of science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and mathematics, Malaysia Association of Research Scientists (MARS) and PROTEMP Exhibitions and Conferences Sdn. Bhd organised Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE), which was held from the 22nd to 24th Februaury 2018 at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).  

MTE is a platform where the talent of MARA staff is highlighted to help them be more competitive in producing innovative products of a certain quality and benefit; and henceforth produce staff who are independent, effective leaders, entrepreneurially minded and employable.

This competition is divided into 3 categories; Invention and Innovation Awards, Asian Youth Innovation Awards (Youth), dan Asian Youth Innovation Awards (Junior).

In the Asian Youth Innovation Awards (Youth) category, KKTM Sri Gading was named champion, earned a gold medal and awarded The Best Award. They were presented with a certificate of participation and a trophy.

 “We faced a lot of challenges to produce the best product which include managing time and finding the right concept to tally with the theme. We are proud of our project that is Interlocking Eco-Brick which is able to attract attention of the jury”, said Zulkefly which is agreed by Nur Fadzreen Md. Awai, Nurul Firzanah Faizal and Nurul Nadiah Mohammad Adanan.
