Entry Requirements

LEPASAN SPM

Pass in SPM or its equivalent with at least 3 credits in the following subjects:

1) Mathematics

2) ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject and Vocational Subject Group (MPV)/Vocational Stream Subject Group (MPAV)

3) Any other ONE (1) subject and

4) A pass in English

STPM

Pass in STPM with at least grade C (CGPA of 2.00) in ONE (1) subject and pass in Mathematics, English and ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject at the SPM level.

STAM

  1. Pass in STAM with at least maqbul level and a pass in Mathematics, English and ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject at the SPM level.
  2. ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject and Vocational Subject Group (MPV)/Vocational Stream Subject Group (MPAV)

INSTITUT KEMAHIRAN MARA/INSTITUT LATIHAN KEMAHIRAN AWAM SUCH AS IKBN AND KOLEJ KOMUNITI/POLITEKNIK

  1. Pass in Certificate in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Profession/Technology in related field with CGPA ≥2.50
  2. Pass in Certificate in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Profession/Technology in related field with <2.0 CGPA < 2.50 and 6 months working experience in related field.

SIJIL KEMAHIRAN MALAYSIA (SKM)

Pass with at least SKM Level 3 or its equivalent and pass in SPM.

Note: Additional requirement for Diploma in Plant Engineering Technology (Electrical) Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology (Plant Operation) Diploma in Electrical Installation Engineering Technology: Normal Colour Vision

Sinopsis Program

Program ini merangkumi teori, latihan praktikal serta amalan kejuruteraan sebenar dalam bidang teknologi kejuruteraan gas. Program ini direka untuk menyediakan pelajar dengan kefahaman dalam kaedah penyimpanan, sistem pengedaran dan sistem penggunaan gas dengan ciri-ciri kawalan optimum. Pelajar turut akan didedahkan dengan pelaksanaan projek-projek sebenar dalam teknologi kejuruteraan gas. Pelaksanaan projek-projek tersebut memerlukan gabungan strategi rumusan masalah, ujian metodologi alternatif rekabentuk, kajian kemungkinan serta pertimbangan ekonomi dan alam sekitar. Graduan program ini mampu untuk melaksanakan amalan kejuruteraan dalam industri gas termasuk pemasangan paip serta sistem simpanan LPG dan gas asli.
