Entry Requirement

SPM 

Pass in SPM with at least 3 credits in the following subjects:

1) Mathematics

2) ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject and Vocational Subject Group (MPV)/Vocational Stream Subject Group (MPAV)

3) Any other ONE (1) subject and

4) A pass in English

STPM 

Pass in STPM with at least grade C (CGPA of 2.00) in ONE (1) subject and pass in Mathematics, English and ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject at the SPM level.

STAM 

  1. Pass in STAM in maqbul grade and a pass in Mathematics, English and ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject at the SPM level.
  2. ONE (1) relevant science/technical/vocational subject and Vocational Subject Group (MPV)/Vocational Stream Subject Group (MPAV)

INSTITUT KEMAHIRAN MARA/INSTITUT LATIHAN KEMAHIRAN AWAM SUCH AS IKBN AND KOLEJ KOMUNITI/POLITEKNIK

  1. Pass in Certificate in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Profession/Technology in related field with CGPA ≥2.50
  2. Pass in Certificate in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Profession/Technology in related field with <2.0 CGPA < 2.50 and 6 months working experience in related field.

SIJIL KEMAHIRAN MALAYSIA (SKM) 

Pass with at least SKM Level 3 and its equivalent and pass in SPM.

Programme Synopsis

The aim of this program is to provide a natural follow-up to typical diploma graduate courses in electronic engineering, concentrating on the commercially important and rapidly expanding area of embedded digital systems for communication and control. It offers a range of relevant options up to industry at large, and is excellent preparation for those wishing to engage in research.

This synthesis-based programme is designed for assistant engineers in the electronics industry, particularly in sectors such as consumer electronics, communications, automotive, industrial automation and avionics. Students will have access to a whole suite of high-performance development tools, platforms and equipment during the practical sessions and the project development phase to hone their expertise.
